If you would like to help donate to the program but are not able to sponsor a youth or shop for a gift, there are other ways you can contribute as well.
♥ We try to make sure that every youth gets a gift card with their presents, so gift card donations are very much appreciated – generally the “generic” kind are the most appropriate (Visa, Wal-Mart, a grocery store, a gas card, etc.).
♥ You can donate money directly to our PayPal account (paypal.me/BavierChristmasDrive) which we will then use to purchase gifts for the youth that don’t get sponsored. We also have about 12 youth who live out of town so we will purchase gifts to be mailed directly to them. Since we are not able to give out their addresses, we prefer monetary donations for these youth so we can purchase and ship the gifts to them (instead of sending only gift cards).
♥ The final way to help without sponsoring a youth/gifts, would be to donate a Christmas “dinner basket” for the youth. We try to make sure that at least all of the young adults with children of their own get a dinner basket, but if possible, we would like to offer all of the youth a basket of food items that they could use to make a Christmas Dinner for themselves.
